Aromatics prices mostly down

In contrast, aromatics were generally weaker on both sides of the Atlantic, traders report. Spot benzene on the US Gulf slumped 20 cts/gal, while spot toluene eased lower by 5 cts/gal and styrene stumbled by 4 cts/lb. In Europe, benzene and toluene were both lower by $10/m.t. while spot styrene bucked the trend with a gain of $20/m.t.
