Aromatics prices mostly dip

On the US Gulf, both benzene and mixed xylenes slipped 10 cts/gal ,while softening demand for derivatives dropped styrene by 3 cts/lb. In Europe, benzene was said to be lower by $15/m.t., toluene moved higher by $15/m.t., and mixed xylenes gained $10/m.t. As in North America, styrene took a tumbled by $45/m.t. in Europe.
