Aromatics prices mixed

Aromatics were reported mixed in thin trading ahead of contract talks. Spot toluene on the US Gulf rose 10 cts/gal, while mixed xylenes declined the same amount. European spot aromatics were said to be flat, with styrene tacking on a token increase of $10/m.t. There was action reported in methanol, where Methanex reduced its posted reference price for April by 10 cts/gal.
