Aromatics prices improve

Aromatics were marginally improved, with spot benzene on the US Gulf rising 10 cts/gal, while spot toluene was higher by 5 cts/gal. The contract for mixed xylenes was said to be settled at an increase of 11 cts/gal for May. In Europe, spot toluene surged $30/m.t., traders report.
