Aromatics Rise on Both Sides of the Atlantic

Aromatics markets were stronger on both sides of the Atlantic. Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf saw buyers raise bids by 15 cts/gal as sellers hiked offers by a dime. Spot toluene was said to be higher by an even 5 cts/gal, while styrene moved up 4 cts/lb. In Europe the pattern was similar with benzene booming $120/m.t. as toluene and sytrene gained $30/m.t.
