Aromatics Relatively Higher in U.S. and Europe

Aromatics markets were more mixed on both sides of the Atlantic. U.S. Benzene producers say they were disappointed with the 4 cts/gal increase secured for the March contract, as nominations had been considerably higher, market players say. Spot benzene was essentially even with two weeks ago, and off 25 cts/gal from in peak late in February, market watchers note.
