Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf gained 5 cts/gal, traders say. At the same time, mixed xylenes added 10 cts/gal on the strength of gains in isomer markets. Styrene rose 3 cts/lb, sellers say. In Europe Mixed xylenes rose $50/m.t. while styrene added $25/m.t. players report. Spot methanol also rose, adding 2 cts/gal in North America and €30/m.t. in Europe.
