Aromatics Prices Mostly Higher

Gains in aromatics were sharply staggered, with benzene and toluene reported to have little activity, while mixed xylenes and styrene rose. Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf gained 5 cts/gal, traders say. At the same time, mixed xylenes added 10 cts/gal on the strength of gains in isomer markets. Styrene rose 3 cts/lb, sellers say.
