Aromatics Prices Mixed

Aromatics markets were more mixed, with spot prices rising but contract prices generally lower on both sides of the Atlantic. September benzene on the U.S. Gulf was settled lower by 40 cts/gal, traders report. Spot toluene moved higher by 15 cts/gal, while spot mixed xylenes bounced up 40 cts/gal on strong derivative demand.
