![]() Aromatics Prices Mixed on Both Sides of the Atlantic10:21 AM MST | February 14, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley Aromatics markets were reported much more mixed on both sides of the Atlantic. Spot prices were said to be flat on the U.S. Gulf Coast, with the exception of mixed xylenes, which ticked higher by 10 cts/gal as the Feburary contract price was settled for a gain of 39 cts/gal. The January contract price for styrene was agreed higher by 4 cts/lb. In Europe spot bezene was one of the few losers on the week, dipping $15/m.t. Spot toluene rose $20/m.t. while mixed xylenes added $10/m.t., traders say. Styrene was reported volatile all week, but netted a gain of $20/m.t...
