Aromatics Prices Mixed in the U.S. and Europe

Spot aromatics were reported to be highly variable for the week. Benzene was higher on the U.S. Gulf Coast by a substantial 15 cts/gal, and also in northwest Europe by $40/m.t. Styrene also rose, but to a lesser degree, players say. It was up $20/m.t. in Europe and just a penny a pound in North America.
