Aromatics Prices Lower

Aromatics were lower, but uneven. Trading was scant on the U.S. Gulf Coast as plants and customers in the southeast recovered from devastating tornadoes, and facilities along the Mississippi River braced for flooding. Spot aromatics were reported to be rangebound in lackluster business. Spot styrene was lower by 2 cts/lb, players say. In Europe both spot benzene and toluene were lower by $30/m.t.
