In Europe, buyers report big declines in spot benzene, off $80/m.t. but that same small uptick in toluene, this time gaining $10/m.t. Styrene was off by $40/m.t. In a surprise early settlement, the fourth-quarter methanol contract was settled in Europe at an increase of €25/m.t.
