Aromatics Prices Fall, Again

In aromatics there had not been any contract settlements by midweek, but spot activity was said to be lower. Benzene on the U.S. Gulf declined by 10 cts/gal, while toluene tumbled 25 cts/gal. Styrene fell 5 cts/lb, breaking below the psychologically important level of 60 cts/lb, market watchers note. In Europe the pattern was similar.
