Benzene gained a token 5 cts/gal on the U.S. Gulf Coast, while mixed xylenes added 10 cts/gal while styrene slipped a penny a pound. In Europe benzene also trailed the field with an increase of $10/m.t. while spot toluene zoomed ahead $35/m.t. Mixed xylenes and styrene were both reported to have gained $20/m.t.
