![]() Aromatics Prices Climb on Both Sides of Atlantic9:32 AM MST | December 27, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Spot aromatics markets were higher on both sides of the Atlantic. On the U.S. Gulf Coast, benzene was reported higher by 10 cts/gal while toluene and mixed xylenes moved up by 5 cts/gal each. Meanwhile, strong polymer markets pulled styrene higher by 3 cts/lb. In Europe, benzene was the top gainer for the week, spiking $110/m.t. sellers say. Toluene and mixed xylenes were reported to be higher by $20/m.t. while styrene rose $80/m.t.
