Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf Coast was lower by 5 cts/gal for the second week in a row, while spot styrene gave up the 2 cts/lb it gained the previous week. In Europe both benzene and toluene saw narrower trading ranges as buyers reduced bids $10/m.t. while sellers took down offers by $20/m.t. to try to stimluate demand.
