Aromatics prices mixed

In aromatics, spot benzene on the US Gulf slumped 30 cts/gal, traders say, but toluene was able to hold level, and mixed xylenes even squeezed out a gain of 15 cts/gal. Styrene followed benzene lower, by 3 cts/lb, players say. In Europe, the volatility was even higher, market watchers report.
