Aromatics Activity Uneven, Players Say

Aromatics were traded raggedly, players say. Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf Coast was unchanged for the second week in a row, but the bounced higher by $50/m.t. in Europe, reversing a loss the previous week. Tolulene and mixed xylenes were both said to be flat in Europe, but declined on the Gulf Coast. Sellers conceed toluene was off 10 cts/gal and MX lower by 15 cts/gal.
