People & Business :: Talent Management DuPont Asks Some Salaried Staff to Take Unpaid Leave12:11 PM MDT | April 14, 2009 | Esther D'Amico DuPont initiated unpaid leave on April 13, asking thousands of salaried workers worldwide to voluntarily take at least two weeks off, according to the Wilmington News-Journal, which broke the story yesterday and which DuPont has confirmed. DuPont’s 75 global corporate officers will take three weeks off without pay; other exempt and salaried professionals are being asked to take the equivalent of two weeks off without pay during the remainder of 2009, the company says in a statement.
