The event is the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention. The latest round of talks may lead to a ban on up to nine chemicals. Chemicals that could soon be banned include alpha hexachlorocyclohexane, chlordecone hexabromidyphenyl ether, hexabromobiphenyl, lindane, pentachlorobenzene and...
