Industry Rolls Out Eight New Projects Promoting Fundamental Scientific Understanding

The International Council of Chemical Associations’ (ICCA)  has agreed to undertake a set of eight major projects in 2010 aimed at increasing the understanding of science relating to chemistry in human health and the environment as part of its Long Range-research Initiative. The projects will cost a combined €3.5 million ($5.2 million). The research projects will be outsourced to scientific research organizations.
