Industry Puts Heads Together to Publish Global Chemicals Database for Stakeholders

Leading bodies of the global chemical industry have disclosed that they plan to publish a global online database of chemical substances for stakeholders, including users of chemicals and members of the public. The program, dubbed the Global Product Strategy (GPS), is part of the global chemical industry’s response to the United Nations Strategic Approach to Chemicals Management (SAICM) initiative to promote the sustainable and safe use of chemicals.
