Reach: Registration Activity Builds

Industry activity associated with the registration of chemicals under the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program is starting to ramp up, according to figures released by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki).   ECHA says that as of August 4 industry had submitted 484 Reach dossiers. Of this number, ECHA says it has already finished processing 97.
