Reach Chemicals Agency Lists 15 Substances of Very High Concern

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has listed 15 substances of very high concern (SVHC) that “may” become subject to the authorization phase of the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program. Chemicals requiring authorization may be subject to market restrictions or even banned.
