Environmental Group Demands EU Action on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals

Environmental pressure group ChemSec (Gothenburg, Sweden) today has published a list of 22 substances being sold in Europe which it says feature endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) that pose a threat to human health and the environment. ChemSec says the process of banning the use of these substances under the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program is not moving forward quickly enough.   All of the 22 substances already have been labeled as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) under the Reach program...
