People & Business :: Reach Environmental Group Demands EU Action on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals2:57 AM MDT | May 4, 2011 | Alex Scott Environmental pressure group ChemSec (Gothenburg, Sweden) today has published a list of 22 substances being sold in Europe which it says feature endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) that pose a threat to human health and the environment. ChemSec says the process of banning the use of these substances under the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program is not moving forward quickly enough.
