EU Publishes Fees Payable Under Reach...

Verheugen: Firms will stay competitive. The European Commission has published the fees and charges applicable for registration, evaluation, and authorization of chemicals under the European Union’s (EU) Reach legislation. The fees and charges will apply with the start of registrations of chemical substances on June 1. The basic registration fee will range from €1,600 ($2,530) for substances produced in volumes below 10 m.t./year, to €31,000 for those above 1,000 m.t./year.
