ECHA opens public consultation on draft SEAC opinion restricting nonylphenol, nonylphenol ethoxylates

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has opened a public consultation on a draft opinion by its committee for socioeconomic analysis (SEAC). The opinion is on a proposal restricting the use of branched and linear nonylphenol (NP) and branched and linear ethoxylated NP (NPE) under the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) regulations.
