ECHA Adds Eight Substances to the Candidate List for Reach Authorisation

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has added eight chemicals to its list of substances to be considered for the Authorisation phase of the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program. The candidate list now features 46 chemicals. All chemicals that go through the Authorisation phase of Reach may be subject to restricted use.
