People & Business :: Reach Aromatics and Olefins Producers Form Reach Consortium11:55 AM MDT | July 1, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Olefins and aromatics producers have formed a group, dubbed the Lower Olefins and Aromatics (LOA) consortium, to share the burden of providing chemical safety data for compliance with the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) law. The consortium plans to prepare Reach registration dossiers for approximately 170 substances within 20 chemical categories.
