DBDPE proposed as a persistent organic pollutant

Norway has submitted a proposal to add decabromodiphenyl ether (DBDPE) to the Stockholm Convention on persistent organic pollutants, says the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki). The European Commission has requested that ECHA start the preparation of a restriction dossier on DBDPE in accordance with the European Union's Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (Reach) legislation.
