White House Energy Adviser to Resign

Carol Browner, a top adviser to President Obama on climate change and energy issues, is planning to resign from her post, according to a Politico report confirmed by White House officials. Browner served as climate and energy czar in the Obama White House, and was head of the EPA during the Clinton administration. She was considered a crucial voice in support of carbon-capping climate change legislation.
