Tronox Shareholders File Class Action Suit

Purchasers of Tronox stock between late 2005 and early 2009 have filed a class action suit charging Kerr-McGee, Anadarko, and certain Tronox executives with violations of the Securities and Exchange Act. The suit charges that the defendants "failed to disclose the true scope and extent of Tronox’s environmental and tort liabilities," and seeks damages to compensate for that failure, says Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP, the law firm representing the plaintiffs.
