People & Business :: People/Executives Tianjin Soda to use Dow-Davy technology in oxo plant10:18 AM MST | January 4, 2013 Dow Chemical and Davy Process Technology (DPT; London), a Johnson Matthey subsidiary, say that Tianjin Soda Plant (Tianjin, China), a subsidiary of Tianjin Bohai Chemical, has selected their LP Oxo Technology for the second time, to be used at Tianjin Soda’s planned butanol/2-ethylhexanol (2EH) plant in the Binhai area of Tianjin. Tianjin Soda’s new facility will have capacity for 140,000 m.t./year of 2EH, 85,000 m.t./year of normal butanol, and 24,400 m.t./year of isobutanol.
