I fully well agree with Hambrecht's philosophy "Say what you think and do what you say. I believe in being straight with people even if the message is tough and people don’t like what they hear. In difficult times in particular, people appreciate it when you’re honest with them".

The world today will now appreciate his statement and managers, will by no choice, have to accept, otherwise business will crumble.
When oil price was high, many can afford to waste. In hard times, each wastage will be microscopically scrutinized to ensure that a re-occurence will not surface.
