Solvay promotes its essential chemicals president to executive committee

Solvay says it has appointed Pascal Juéry to the company's executive committee. Juéry had been, until recently, president of Solvay's essential chemicals activity. Juéry was, from 2010, an executive committee member at the former Rhodia, which Solvay acquired in 2011. He has been president/essential chemicals since the acquisition and was responsible for a reorganization that split the business into two new global business units (GBUs): soda ash and hydrogen peroxides.
