Showa Denko to enter purification resin market with Austrian partnership

Showa Denko (SDK; Tokyo) has signed a joint marketing and R&D partnership agreement with BIA Separations (BIASep; Villach, Austria), a producer and seller of short monolithic chromatographic columns based on convective interaction media (CIM) technology. The agreement will expand SDK’s business to the purification resins market, used for the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals and other industrial applications.
