Shin-Etsu says that president Chihiro Kanagawa, 84, will step down from that position and become chairman of the company. Shin-Etsu executive v.p. Shunzo Mori, 72, will succeed Kanagawa as president. The change will be made following a company shareholder meeting scheduled for June 29.
