Shell manufacturing v.p. moves to Borealis executive board

Borealis has appointed Martijn van Koten to the executive board of directors, effective 1 November. Van Koten assumes the position of v.p./operations. He succeeds Herbert Willerth, who, as deputy CEO, will focus on Borealis’s Mideastern and Asian activities.   Van Koten joins Borealis from Shell. During his more than 19 years with Shell, he held posts in manufacturing, technical services, R&D, and strategic development.
