People & Business :: People/Executives Rhodia Announces Job Cuts in France12:54 PM MDT | April 3, 2009 Rhodia has announced a restructuring in France that could lead to the loss of 132 jobs. The program focuses on two sites that produce nylon and one site operated by Rhodia’s Novecare phosphorus derivatives and surfactants business. Rhodia plans to cut 40 jobs at its Belle-Etoile nylon complex under a scheme designed “to increase synergies between the engineering plastics, and intermediates and polymers chain.” The company intends to downsize its nylon activities at Valence with the loss of 80 jobs, to “bring production in line with fiber...
