R&H to Cut More Jobs in North America

Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it will eliminate a further 200 jobs primarily in North America by mid-2008, as part of its ongoing restructuring plans. The job cuts represent about 1.3% of the company’s global workforce. The restructuring includes plans to sell R&H’s digital imaging business at Bristol, PA, move some R&D operations outside of North America, and reduce administrative and manufacturing operations.
