People & Business :: People/Executives Praxair builds air separation unit in Peru3:21 PM MDT | October 18, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Praxair has started up an air separation unit (ASU) at Lima, Peru. The ASU will provide additional industrial gas supply to the refinery and liquefied industrial gases industry, including zinc producers, in South America. Costs of the start-up were not disclosed. Production capacity of the ASU is about 300 tons/day of oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
