PhosAgro CEO Maxim Volkov resigns to focus on soda ash

PhosAgro (Moscow) announced today that its CEO, Maxim Volkov, has submitted his resignation. Volkov has worked at PhosAgro since 2001.He will remain a member of the PhosAgro board, on which he chairs the strategy committee. The board plans to appoint a new CEO by the end of July.   PhosAgro raised its stake in Metachem, a fertilizer producer based at Pikalevo, from 74.6% to 100% this week. At the same time, it sold non-core assets on the site, including Pikalevskaya Soda and property related to cement production, to the former minority shareholders. Volkov...
