PetroChina appoints new CFO

PetroChina says that it appointed Yu Yibo as the company’s new CFO, effective 14 March. Zhou Mingchun stepped down from his position as CFO to take up the role of chief accountant and as a member of the party leadership group at China State Shipbuilding (Beijing). Zhou had served as the CFO of PetroChina since June 2007. Yu, prior to his appointment as CFO, was the general manager of the M&A department in PetroChina.
