Orica appoints new CFO

Orica (Melbourne) says that CFO Noel Meehan will leave the company at the end of October. Craig Elkington, currently executive global head mining services, will be appointed CFO from 1 November. Elkington joined Orica in 1994; he has strong a finance and commercial background at senior levels across the Orica group, having held numerous CFO positions at Incitec when it was a subsidiary of Orica, at the chemicals division,; and at mining services.
