Obituary—John Harvey-Jones

John Harvey-Jones, former chairman of ICI, died on January 10 aged 83 after a long illness. Harvey-Jones was chairman of ICI, now part of Akzo Nobel, the worlds's largest coatings company, from 1982 to 1987. Chief executive of ICI, John McAdam said that Harvey-Jones was considered "a legend within ICI, and held in very high esteem by everyone in the company."
