NPRA Changes Name to American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers

The National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) says it will change its name to the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM). The name change takes effect in  January, the trade association’s 110th year, and will be the fourth in its history. NPRA was founded in 1902 as the National Petroleum Association, became the National Petroleum Refiners Association in 1961, and became the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association in 1998.
