Momentive specialty chemicals increases prices

Momentive Specialty Chemicals announced today that it will increase prices for epoxy resins, bisphenol A (BPA) and allylics in the Americas, effective 1 February. The company says the price adjustment is due to increases in raw materials costs. BPA, liquid epoxy resins, solid epoxy resins, specialty liquid epoxy resins, resin blends and high performance resins will increase by 8 cts/lb. Allyl chloride and epichlorohydrin will increase by 5 cts/lb, and resins solutions and brominated resin solutions will increase by 6...
