Management Changes at Bayer MaterialScience

Bayer MaterialScience has announced several management changes. Michael Koenig, currently senior country representative of Bayer Greater China and of Bayer MaterialScience in China, will become the new head of the polycarbonates business, effective July 1, 2011. He succeeds Günter Hilken, who on August 1, 2011, takes over as chairman of Currenta GmbH, a joint venture between Bayer and Lanxess, which operates the chemical parks in Leverkusen, Dormagen, and Krefeld-Uerdingen.
