LyondellBasell Names Senior Leadership

Basell and Lyondell Chemical have named the senior leadership that will lead the combined company upon completion of Basell’s acquisition of Lyondell, which is expected to close before the end of the fourth quarter. The operations will be divided into three global divisions—chemicals, fuels, and polymers. Basell CEO Volker Trautz was previously named CEO of the combined organization, and will be based in Rotterdam.
