LyondellBasell Names New CFO

LyondellBasell has appointed Karyn F. Ovelmen as executive v.p. and CFO, replacing  Kent Potter who has informed the company of his intent to retire. Potter will continue to serve as the principal financial officer until after the company's next periodic report and has agreed to stay on with the company through year-end in a transitional role. “Kent came out of retirement in 2009 to join LyondellBasell as CFO and to assist in the company's reorganization and successful emergence from Chapter 11,” says LyondellBasell CEO James Gallogly...
